Antonin Suman for TON, armchairs model E4309, lacquered beech, fabric, Czech Republic, 1970s
These dining chairs are manufactured by Ton. They feature a wonderful bentwood frame that is colored in an eye-catching red shade. Engraved rings add a subtle detail to the frame. Currently upholstered in a purple pattern fabric the chair features a lovely composition of colors.
TON was founded after WWII in former Thonet factories and continued with the furniture making tradition set up by Thonet. In the 1960s, TON asked various architects to contribute to research and developments of new designs using the technology of bentwood and leading to new, more contemporary designs.

Please note that the fabric needs to be reupholstered before shipping.
