Round Brazilian Sofa in Leather and Black Wooden Frame

This bulky Brazilian sofa consist of a round shell that forms an oval ring around the seat. The leather is tufted around the shell in dynamic folds. The shape invites to take a seat and relax. The circular base is made of dark lacquered round slats that form a nice unified whole with the upholstery. The way the sofa is structured reminds of the the designs by Brazilian furniture maker Percival Lafer (1936-).
