Robert Haussmann for De Sede, swivel desk chair, ottoman, leather, chrome plated, Switzerland, 1960s
A design by Robert Haussmann that features a cubic shaped structure. The backrest runs into the armrests by means of a right-angled transition, creating a sharp shape. The seat rests on a five-star base equipped with casters and a tilt mechanism that allows the user to adjust the height. This armchair is upholstered in high-quality olive green leather, which shows signs of age and use. Overall, an elegant piece of furniture that will suit perfectly in a mid-century office space.
The matching ottoman features a rectangular shaped footrest that is hold by an outer frame in a refined manner. This cushion rests on a five-star base equipped with casters.
Dimensions of the ottoman: H 44 x W 56 x D 56 cm

Slowly, the company widened their scope and committed themselves to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. In 1965 the family-run business grew into a professional company and their name was De Sede AG. De Sede products are detail-obsessed and are completely made and focused on the people who use them. Therefore, all the DeSede items are made out of the best materials which results in durability and comfort.
Please note that the leather shows some signs of wear and use.
