Preben Fabricius for Walter Knoll, three-seat sofa, black leather and steel, 1970s.

This very beautiful black sofa with four square steel base's is very comfortable. The soft black leather cushions provide the back with excellent support and it's heaven to sit on. The sofa is designed by Preben Fabricius (1931-1984) and Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007). Their trademark is easily visible: geometric use of steel with voluptuous and leather cushion. What is interesting is that the middle seat can be taken out and therefore the sofa can turned into a settee. Very versatile couch which is made with the best materials and last but not least: the couch is in supreme condition.
