Poul Hundevad Leather Lounge Chairs by Mogens Plum
Mogens Plum and Kay Ingemann Iversen for Poul Hundevad, 'PH81', beech, black leather, Denmark, circa 1965
This set of comfortable Danish armchairs are designed by Plum Mogens and Kay Ingemann Iversen. The chairs are executed black leather and beech and are made by the expert cabinetmaker Poul Hundevad. The chairs feature different constructive elements such as a leather padded seat that is solely connected to the headrest and seat, resulting in a floating seat. The beech armrests have a leather element that result in the chair having a sort of protective shell.
