Poul Henningsen & Kurt Nørregaard Giant 'LP Centrum' Pendant
Poul Henningsen & Kurt Nørregaard, pendant 'LP Centrum,' in aluminum, Denmark second half of the 20th century.
This light was designed on the mathematic 'Lituus Curve.' Ten circle shaped shades, placed on vertical ribs, makes sure the light is equally divided. The spectator has no direct view on the light-source itself. Which is not only pleasant for the eye, this also makes less to non-shadow. Besides a fantastic design, this pendant is an ideal light to home or working place. The design originate by Poul Henningsen. Kurt Nørregaard developed it into this giant pendant.
The pendant is in good conditional and shows minor traces of age and use, which is visible on the white coated metal.
