This outstanding dining table is based on a well thought out construction that is aesthetically pleasing. The whole unit is characterized by two sculptural shaped metal legs that lift the black varnished glass tabletop in a forceful manner. The design of the legs is executed in a cruciform shape with concaved sides, adding a strong and expressive appearance to the table. Special feature is the straight line in clear glass that cuts the top visually in two parallel pieces. Luigi Saccardo clearly created a postmodern design that breathes the characteristics of Italian design of the seventies.
