Flighty floor lamp designed by Alessandro Mendini in 1982, in the style of Memphis. This lamp is a simplified representation of a male figure. Black base with colorful stern in red and green and glass sphere with a mask as shade. In 1982, Mendini co-founded the Memphis Group, which included Ettore Sottsass and Michele De Lucchi. Nowadays, the groups is celebrated for its eclectic, Postmodern designs in furniture. The designs of this period feature irony, bright colors and scale distortions.
