This 'Luminator' floor lamp is designed by Pietro Chiesa and executed by Fontana Arte. This lamp has a very contemporary, sleek feel and it is therefore incredible to know that this lamp has been designed by Chiesa as early as 1933. The lamp is made out of coated aluminium, giving this lamp a natural, raw Industrial aesthetic. The light is designed with a tall stem and an upwards facing cone, which also prevents the direct light source from being on show. This lamp was one of the first lights designed in Italy that hid the direct light source.
