Pierre Dariel, settees model 'Hendaye', oak, beech, cane, France, 1930s.

Sturdy 'Hendaye' model bench designed by Pierre Dariel in the 1930s. The structure is composed entirely out of oak and beech, while the seat and backrest are made of cane. Unique to this two-seater settee is the system created to fold in the seat and backrest up- or downwards. Due to the very structured frame and armrests, the sofa has its one of a kind exterior.

Please note that the benches differ in patina and there is a slightly difference in color of the cane. Furthermore, one bench shows signs of age and use, and is in need of some restoration. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
