Pierre Dariel, settee, model 'Hendaye', oak, beech, cane, France, 1930s.

Sturdy 'Hendaye' model bench designed by Pierre Dariel in the 1930s. The structure is composed entirely out of oak and beech, while the seat and backrest are made of cane. Unique to this two-seater settee is the system created to fold in the seat and backrest up- or downwards. Due to the very structured frame and armrests, the sofa has its one of a kind exterior.

Please note that the item is in used condition and is in need of restauration. Restauration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restauration is possible as well.
