Model 'B30-bibliotheque' is designed by Pierre Chapo. This clear and solid bookcase consist of two robust elm shelves that rest upon two T-shaped brackets. The bookshelves are in the Campagne style of which Chapo was an important exponent, together with charlotte Perriand.
Pierre Chapo was born in a family of craftsmen. He was a graduated architect in 1958 from the Ecole Nationale Supe´rieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Chapo's work was inspired by Charlotte Perriand and he dedicated himself mainly to his work as a carpenter and as cabinetmaker focusing on his great passion wood.
