Two-seat sofa by Brazilian designer Percival Lafer. This sofa consists of a solid Jacaranda base in which the leather seating 'hangs'. Soft cushions are folded over the rosewood frame. The leather seating consists of several shields and is decorated with leather laces. These laces combine the wooden frame with the seating, with beautiful rosewood beads. Sturdy yet highly detailed sofa.
This sofa has nicely aged and worn leather. There are several traces which show the intensive use and the age of this sofa. Reupholstery is advised and possible in any kind of leather of your choice.
Percival Lafer began making furniture in the early 1960s. He had the true modernist view, and wanted to bring good and affordable design to everyone. His furniture is characterized by a modern and contemporary design in addition with solid hardwoods from Brazil.
