Percival Lafer Lounge Chair with Ottoman Brazilian Hardwood
Percival Lafer, lounge chair with ottoman, leather, hardwood, Brazil, late 1970s
Bulky and voluptuous lounge chair with pouf by Brazilian designer Percival Lafer. This chair features a solid dark wooden base with leather straps spanned between the slats. The tufted leather seating is placed on top of the leather straps and the wooden frame, and connected by a Classic wooden joint. The armrests are casually draped over the wooden frame. The sturdy legs are tapered and placed slightly tilted, which attributes to the bulky seating. It is a sturdy yet highly detailed design.
