Paul Leidersdorff for Cado 'Caravelle' Pair of Lounge Chairs in Red Leather
Paul Leidersdorff for Cado, 'Caravelle' pair of lounge chairs, leather, aluminum and wood, Denmark, 1960s
Modern set of two armchairs. The slipper chairs hold L-shaped seatings and this shape is repeated in the legs. A double L is mirrored to form the steel 'slipper.' This base is characteristic and provides an open character to the chairs. The seat and back are upholstered with leather and the leather is tufted on every separate element including the armrests. These tufted leather cushions provide the sitter with great comfort. This loung chairs are therefore both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The chairs bare a great resemblance with the chairs by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm.
Kindly be aware that these chairs are in good, used condition.
