Stunning postmodern floor lamp by Italian designer Paolo Tilche. The lamp ‘3S’ relies on the function of a counterweight. A stem with a heavy sphere at the bottom end and the circular shade on the top end. A ball-and-socket joint allows you to balance the lamp in your preferred angle. Another special feature is the circular shade that can be opened as much as you like or be closed when the lamp is not in use. The public audience got familiar with the ‘3S’ when it was decorating set of the James Bond movie ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ in 1977.
