Saporiti, set of two lounge chairs in rosewood and fabric, Italy, 1960s.

These chairs are equipped with a rosewood frame and a retro sand to beige colored upholstery. These chairs are designed in a modest, yet distinguished look. The chairs feature a balanced aesthetic thanks to the combination of the warm vibrant yellow velvet and the warm, natural rosewood frame. The chairs have high armrests that slope only slightly downwards towards the edge. The chairs are designed as a shell to embrace the sitter so these chairs are comfortable and elegant. Interesting details can be seen in the legs that feature architectural almost Art Deco inspired features.

The fabric is overall in good condition. Of course it's possible to reupholster this set in any preferred fabric or leather in our in-house atelier.

We advise reupholstery because the original fabric shows signs of age and use, especially on the armrests. The experienced craftsman of our in-house atelier are specialist on reupholstery of design furniture. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains it's value and is ready for the many years to come.
