Attributed to Vittorio Nobili, pair of lounge chairs, walnut, plywood, metal, Italy, 1960s

A dynamic pair of easy chairs in plywood and black coated metal. The seats are veneered in walnut that shows a lovely natural grain. The shell of the seat is bent with a gap at the back. Together with the outwards bending armrests the design gets a light and vivid appearance. The model has similarities to Vittorio Nobili's 'Medea' chair and is therefore attributed to him.
