Pair of French Art Deco Armchairs in Solid Oak
Pair of lounge chairs, oak and fabric, France, 1940s
Charming French Art Deco armchairs made of oak. The design features bulky forms with elements of a throne, such as the high, almost majestic backrests that slightly leans backwards. The arms thick and finished with subtle carvings at the end, which are repeated in the legs as well. The red cushions give these chairs extra comfort.
The oak is nicely patinated and the cushions are in fair condition.
