Pair of Elegant Art Deco Lounge Chairs in Camel Beige Striped Upholstery

Sale price$6,450.00

Pair of armchairs, fabric, stained wood, Europe, 1930s

These elegantly crafted lounge chairs hail from one of the most significant periods in art history, the Art Deco Movement. Originating in Europe during the 1930s, these chairs are distinguished by their graceful curvature and bulky contours. The backrest gracefully transitions into the armrests with a seamless, fluid motion. It evokes the form of a shell, characterized by tufted lines that subtly diverge. The buttons adorning the back are meticulously and evenly distributed across its width, endowing the piece with a refined charm and sophisticated elegance. The chairs are upholstered in a soft, camel beige toned fabric with delicate stripes, adding warmth and character to the design.

Kindly note that the chairs are in good, used condition with signs of age and use. The fabric exhibits wear mainly on the armrests. The wooden feet contain stains and scratches. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
