Easy chairs, velvet and darkened oak, Denmark, 1960s

Quirky pair of reupholstered easy chairs from Denmark. This model features a seat shaped as a shell. Within the shell, a red cushion is placed as the seat. Short, pointy armrests in wood are attached to the shell, which gives the chairs its quirky appearance. The buttoned back is a nice, subtle detail as well. The chairs lean slightly backwards.

This quirky, playful set of chairs is part of the customized Midcentury collection. Every piece is carefully selected by our team for restyling according our philosophy, resulting in a new life for these highly potential pieces of furniture.
The chairs are fully restored and reupholstered by the experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier. For the reupholstery, our team chose carefully for a combination of two high quality fabrics of the Dedar collection. The chairs are reupholstered in woolen velvets; the seat and backrests in a sunflower yellow, and the cushion seat in mattone red.
This is a great example of the almost endless possibilities our team has to offer, and how we can help you with the reupholstery of one of your favorite pieces in our collection.
