Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno, wall-mounted wall unit, metal, white laminated wood, Italy, 1950s

This wall-mounted shelf is three compartments large. This shelving system was developed by Borsani as a coordinated system for furnishing either the home or the office and therefore is designed to be used flexible. The arrangement of multiple shelves and three cabinets is adjustable. The shelves are mounted on black steel profiles. Therefore a striking contrast is evoked between the white cabinets and shelves and the black metal parts.

The shelves are mounted on black coated steel profiles. The bottom section holds a large cabinet, and a smaller unit with drawers. The upper sections features a storage cabinet.
