Osvaldo Borsani for Arredamento Borsani, marble wood, Italy, 1950s.

This distinctive centre table is made in the 1950s and holds a wooden decorated shaft. The main feature of this table is the red marble-top. The white and grey veins give a beautiful drawing or pattern which endorses its character. The marble is repeated at the base of this table giving the table even more allure.

Osvaldo Borsani (1911-1985) is known for his modernist designs at Tecno Milano. Before he began Tecno with his twin brother, Osvaldo designed furniture at his father’s cabinetry Atelier Varedo or Arredamento Borsani.
