The designer, Norman Fox Macgregor, created this platform sofa as part of the 'Tsui Choice Collection', which draws inspiration from Asian motifs and aesthetics. The sofa's seat rests gracefully atop a sleek black lacquered wooden platform, embellished with a golden line that curls elegantly at either end. The platform also features a square side table, ingeniously integrated into the design, and crafted from exquisite black marble. A curved wooden slate gracefully "hovers" above the seat that is executed in a fine, shinny fabric adorned with sinuous lines. This remarkable piece is a testament to the designer's skillful blending of Eastern and Western influences to create a truly unique and captivating piece of furniture.

Please note that the marble contains scratches and the fabric needs to be reupholstered due to stains, tears, and holes.
