This elegant table has a slim base, well made with four tapered legs in solid wood. As the rest of the table is laquered white and the four legs show, their natural wooden surface they are highlighted. On the angular pedastal, the round tabletop is laying. Special feature of the top is the possibility to turn it.
Nanna Ditzel (1923-2005) was a cabinetmaker and became a furniture designer in 1946 together with her husband Jørgen Ditzel (1921-1961). Nanna Ditzel was a designer who was focused on the use, need and function of furniture. Her style is therefore very approachable and useful but at times also bold and experimental. Ditzel made use of innovative techniques and materials.
