Móveis Cimo, pair of lounge chairs, rosewood and fabric, Brazil, 1950s.

Fully restored and reupholstered pair of Brazilian lounge chairs, designed by Móveis Cimo. These eye catching club chairs feature an organic shaped seat that rests on the wooden frame. The combination of the organic, curved shaped seat in combination with the geometric frame is striking. A great addition to a notable interior.

The chairs have been recently reupholstered in high quality Pierre Frey velvet by the experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier and are in great condition. Upholstered in a high quality pink/salmon colored velvet.

The company Móveis Cimo was founded in 1913 by Willy Jung and Jorge Zipperer in Rio Negrinho. The company ceased to exist in 1982. Designed in the style of Brazilian designer Giuseppe Scapinelli.
