Móveis Cimo, pair of lounge chairs, teak and fabric, Brazil, 1960s.

Elegant pair of lounge chairs designed by Moveis Cimo. The sculptural, tapered arms that point slightly upwards are both sweeping and elegant. The most distinctive feature within these armchairs are the armrests that have rhythmic slats. The chairs are luxurious in their look and feel and are thanks to their thick cushions very comfortable. A stunning set that highlights the elegant side of Brazilian Mid Modern design.

The company Móveis Cimo was founded in 1913 by Willy Jung and Jorge Zipperer in Rio Negrinho. The company ceased to exist in 1982. Designed in the style of Brazilian designer Giuseppe Scapinelli.
