Móveis Cimo Lounge Chair in Antracite Velvet
Móveis Cimo, lounge chair, rosewood and fabric, Brazil, 1950s. Fully restored and reupholstered Brazilian lounge chair, designed by Móveis Cimo. This eye catching club chair feature an organic shaped seat that rests on the wooden frame. The combination of the organic, curved shaped seat in combination with the geometric frame is striking. The wide seat is tapered moving upwards, which gives the seat a sturdy appearance. The armrests start from the backrests, flow down and finally point upwards. The chair has been recently reupholstered in high quality grey velvet by the experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier and are in great condition. The company Móveis Cimo was founded in 1913 by Willy Jung and Jorge Zipperer in Rio Negrinho. The company ceased to exist in 1982. Designed in the style of Brazilian designer Giuseppe Scapinelli.
