Mobichalet Set of Five Brutalist Wooden High Stools

Mobichalet set of five high stools, stained pine, Belgium, 1950s.

These high stools are produced by Mobichalet in the 1950s. The stools are all slightly different in form which gives them their rustic and naturalistic look. The chairs have a wrought iron cross between the four legs for extra support and stability. The iron together with the dark stained pine wood used to make these chairs gives them a rough and sturdy appearance.
