Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte Pair of Table Lamps circa 1960
Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte table lamp, Model 2344, frosted glass, brushed nickel base, Italy, design 1964, production later
This set of classic lamps are made out of frosted glass shades that are mounted on a brushed nickel base. The base is thick and round and becomes thinner when rising up. The opaline shades complement the mat nickel perfectly.
Max Ingrand (1908-1969) was a French Artist and decorator best known for his work with glass. This pair of lamps shows the ability of the designer to create a light shape, with a metal base.
