An exceptional dining table by the Italian designer and actor Mario Marenco (1933-2019), featuring a high-level of craftsmanship in woodwork. The whole construction is solidly built finished with beveled edges that add finesse and elegance to the unit. The table embodies a graphic visualization of a variety of wood tones, which adds a rhythmic and haptic surface to the surface. The tilted legs are not directly connected to the table, but secured to a bar, which support the top. As outcome, the tabletop seems to float on the trapezoidal base. The designer of this Italian table truly wanted to impress the viewer with a monumental, voluminous design.
