Maison Franck, cabinet in tortoise, wood, brass and metal by Belgium, 1930s.

Unique furniture piece designed and made by Maison Franck, Antwerp Belgium. Maison Franck was a Belgium company specialized in furniture design and decoration known for creating exclusive furniture, mostly on special request for their select group of clients. With their Chinese connections they were able to import luxury materials such as the tortoiseshell to decorate their furniture with. With highly refined detailing and a very high grade of quality, this cabinet still is a timeless piece. With ebony wood frames and gold coated decorated carved panels it has a very impressive appearance. The legs are finished with a rosewood veneer which forms an elegant match with the red colored tortoise and ebony wood. This high legged cabinet can either be used for storage or a liquor cabinet/dry bar. The inside is also well crafted and finished with a glass shelve and rosewood details.
