Luigi Massoni for Poltrona Frau, ‘Dilly Dally’ vanity set, mirror, leatherette, fiberglass, brass, Italy, design 1968

Outstanding Italian dressing table executed by Luigi Massoni (1930-2013) in a functional way. Both the table and the chair are equipped with casters, providing easy movement. Thereby, the matching chair can be integrated into the barrel-shaped carcass, meaning that the item itself consumes less space in the room. The top can be opened revealing a built-in round mirror and molded plastic trays with dividers for make-up and other accessories. The chair itself is provided with button cushions on the backrest and seating area. The vanity set is executed in a beautiful vibrant cognac color, which gives the room a lively and exciting touch.

Please note that the leather shows minor tears on various places, the casters do not function optimally, and the seat misses a button, therefore we advise restoration. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration or reupholstery is possible as well.
