A luxurious, Belgian School cocktail table made of brass, steel and agate by Lova Creation. The rectangular-shaped tabletop has rounded corners is made of brass with etched details. It is inlayed with a large piece of agate, which emphasizes its rich appearance. The black coated base gives the top the a floating appearance.
From the 1970s a trend of decorative arts arose in Brussels. Key-designers were Aldo Chale, Georges Mathias, Willy Daro and Lova Creation. Their style was characterized by the use of gemstones as decorative element and the use of gold as primary color. The classical technique of etching was highly applied on their designs for coffee and cocktail tables.
