Lorenzo Burchiellaro (1933-2017) is an Italian designer and sculptor. He is known for his artistic use in metals and the creation of decorative objects and furniture. He works with different materials such as metals, gold, silver, aluminum, zinc and copper. The fact that Burchiellaro is a sculptor is visible in this clock that could easily function as a piece of art. Burchiellaro treated the surfaces of the metal with different techniques, showing the hand-crafted details. The central part prominently features an illustrated face encircled by raised markers for timekeeping. The upper and lower sections are elongated and bear the numbers 12 and 6, respectively.
