Lodovico Acerbis and Giotto Stoppino "I Menhir" Marble Dining Table
Lodovico Acerbis and Giotto Stoppino for Acerbis International, table model 'Menhir', in marble, stainless steel and glass, Italy, 1983.
This well designed table was part of the "Menhir" collection, designed and produced in the early 1980s. The base is made of round elements in solid marble. The bottom circle is made of black marble, the middle piece red marble with white veins. All the elements have rounded edges. The well preserved marble elements are held by a thick marble tube, that supports the round glass top. Due the smoked glass top, the forms and materials of the base are nicely exposed.
