Lineart Moveis e Decoracoes, pair of lounge chairs, rosewood, metal and leatherette, Brazil, 1960s.

Highly rare pair of lounge chairs with bended rosewood frame and extraordinary skeleton back, often attributed to Jorge Zalszupin. Four hexagonal shaped legs of solid rosewood support the frame. These low seated chairs have an open character and surprising combination of materials. The visible expressive grain on the Jacaranda wood gives the chairs a warm character.

Seating, back and armrests of tufted loose cushions are upholstered in red leatherette, which needs to be replaced. The experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier can take care of this.
