Lineart Moveis e Decoracoes Large Sofa in Rosewood and Fabric 1960s
Lineart Moveis e Decoracoes, four-seat sofa, Brazilian rosewood, metal and fabric, Brazil, 1960s.
This large four-seat sofa was designed and manufactured by Lineart Moveis e Decoracoes. Very well crafted in Brazilian jacaranda with a stunning design used for the back. It consists of a bent rosewood frame that has an extraordinary skeleton like appearance. The six hexagonal shaped legs are well crafted in solid rosewood. The expressive grain on the wood gives the sofa a warm and rich appearance. Due to its length it has an amazing horizontal and floating character.
The loose cushions are placed in the shell and draped over the sides. The upholstery shown on the images features an off-white color as an example for the possibilities. The original cushions need to be reupholstered, therefore any kind of fabric or leather can be used. The experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier will take care of this, which takes approx. 4 weeks next to the standard handling time.
