Helge Sibast & Børge Rammeskov for Sibast møbelfabrik, set of 24 dining chairs model 465, rosewood and fabric, Denmark, 1962.
This set is designed by Helge Sibast and Børge Rammeskov for Sibast møbelfabrik. This model, 465, holds a slightly curved backrest and a slat underneath the curve. The frame is joint to the backrest with a metal joinery. The seat is slightly bigger than the frame and therefore protrudes slightly. The legs are almost straight yet are defined by a delicate, minimal tapered edge. Danish design as it is supposed to be, modest, refined and of a very high quality.
