Well-designed sizable sideboard by Franco Albini for Poggi in the 1950s in Italy. This design features a simplistic aesthetic with sharp lines. This modern sideboard has four compartments which you can access through doors. Due the tapered high legs, the sideboard has an open and elegant appearance. The extravagant recessed handles are a nice detail to the reserved design which contributes to the radiance of the visual qualities of the wood.
Born in 1905, Franco Albini (1905-1977) was an Italian Neo-Rationalist architect, designer, and university lecturer in design. He was noted for merging together modern furniture design with traditional Italian artisanship.
