Large Art Deco Credenza in Oak
Credenza, oak, France, 1930s.
Sturdy credenza with stunning graphical details in the door panels. Featuring circular carving in the two middle doors and a rectangular wood mosaic on both the outer side doors, which give this cabinet a vibrant appearance and emphasize the dimensionality. This four-door sideboard is equipped with several shelves which provide plenty of storage space. The doors in the middle are finished with large copper handles. The large pedestal foot lifts the grand sideboard from the ground, giving the piece a more airy appearance.
This Art Deco sideboard is in the style of designers Charles Dudouyt and Gaston Poisson. The French Art Deco designers are masters in combining the more feminine and refined Art Deco style with graphical patterns and masculine elements.
