Johannes Spalt 'Constanze' Sofa or Daybed

$14,000.00

Johannes Spalt for Wittmann, cognac leather, teak, Austria, 1960s.

This Austrian daybed is named 'Constanze'. This item is designed by Johannes Spalt and manufactured by Wittmann. This early model, with teak frame and cognac leather is wonderfully balanced in its color palette. The elegant slim legs create an open feeling and give the sofa the needed air to come across less solid and robust. By only one hand movement the 'Constance' transforms from a comfortable sofa to daybed. A very elegant and also nifty technique.

Please note that this item is in used condition. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
