Johannes Spalt 'Constanze' Daybed in Green Upholstery

$6,450.00

Johannes Spalt for Wittmann, green fabric, teak, Austria, 1960s.

A beautiful sofa that transforms to a daybed designed by Johannes Spalt for Wittman in the 1960s. This daybed is named 'Constanze'. This early model, with teak frame and green upholstery is wonderfully balanced in its color palette. The elegant slim legs create an open feeling and give the sofa the needed air to come across less solid and robust. By only one hand movement the 'Constance' can from a comfortable sofa to daybed. All together this design is beautiful in its execution and practical in its use.
