Jean Claude Dresse, coffee table, resin, inlay, Belgium, 1970s

Wonderful white resin side or coffee table designed by Belgian designer Jean Claude Dresse. This piece is made out of a resin tabletop, resting on lacquered metal feet in the same off-white color. The rectangular shaped tabletop is finished with an organic pattern and inlayed fragments. The lines in resin are hand-drawn by Dresse and etched afterwards. A piece that finds itself between the borders of furniture design and art.
