Italian Set of Ten Dining Chairs in Teak and Green Upholstery

Sale price$13,800.00

Set of ten dining chairs, teak, faux leather, Italy, 1940s

A splendid set of dining chairs originating from Italy during the 1940s. Admired for its intrinsic form and masterful craftsmanship, this design stands as a testament to the artisanal expertise and meticulous handiwork of its maker. The sides exhibit a graceful curvature, starting in the front legs and elegantly culminating in the armrests. Another defining feature is the backrest with its prominent undulating lines. The wooden framework is crafted from a warm teak, harmonizing elegantly with the green upholstered seats. The design is exemplary for the aesthetic sensibilities that were prevalent during the period in which these chairs were created.

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item contains threadbare upholstery with loose seams and tears. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.

We would like to bring to your attention that there is a slight height difference between the backrest and armrest of each chair. For further details, we encourage you to reach out to our team of design specialists.
