Italian Pair of Armchairs with Bentwood Frames

Sale price$2,400.00

Pair of dining chairs, lacquered wood, fabric, Italy, 1970s.

This lovely pair of Italian dining chairs has a strong resemblance to Augusto Savini's 'Pamplona' chair (1965) and Afra & Tobia Scrapa's 'Pigreco' chair (1959/60), yet the designs are different in their details. This chair also has the same shaped frame but then the connections are executed fully in wood. These chairs have black lacquered frames and the seats and backrests are upholstered in a lovely multicolored fabric.

Please note that the item is in used condition. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier.
