Italian Bar Cabinet in Walnut Attributed to Osvaldo Borsani
Attributed to Osvaldo Borsani, drybar, ebonized wood, opaline glass, mirrors and walnut, Italy, 1940s
Elegant Italian cabinet in the manner of Osvaldo Borsani. The bar consists of an ebonized case and base. The cabinet itself shows a horizontal linear structure. The doors are finished with walnut and small opaline glasses with floral designs. This complements the richness of the inside of the cabinet. The inside has several storage facilities and is beautifully decorated with a mosaic of mirrors.
This bar cabinet features Borsani's early years as a designer, characterized with more classical elements.
