Armchairs, leather, lacquered wood, Italy, 1960s

Armchairs in wood with cognac leather. The chairs have a characteristic design, clearly inspired by the Pamplona chair of Augusto Savini. The chairs are functional and straightforward, yet very architectural, both in lines and proportions. The design features a wonderful bentwood frame, starting from the front leg which runs over into the armrests and ends in the rear leg. The cognac colored leatherette upholstery of both the seat and back form a beautiful, combination with the lacquered wood.
