In the style of Paco Rabanne, lacquered wood, faux ivory, France, 1970s.

Incredible four-doors cabinet in the style of the Spanish fashion designer Paco Rabanne. Simultaneously, this cabinet also shows strong similarities to the designs of the Belgian designer Emiel Veranneman (1924-2003), who used geometrical forms and lacquer for his large cabinets. A real eyecatcher with a luxurious appearance due to its black lacquered wooden surface and faux ivory adornments. The four triangular sturdy handles in faux ivory form together a square in the middle, which gives a playful touch when opening the doors. The long-shaped cabinet shows strong resemblance with antique Chinese wedding cabinets, while the geometrical forms of the legs and the faux ivory inlays radiate a neoclassical allure. This contrast gives the piece a lively atmosphere.
