Ignazio Gardella, floor lamp 'Arenzano', brass, marble and opaline glass, Italy, 1950s
An elegant floorlamp designed by the Italian architect Ignazio Gardella. The base is made of tubular brass, curved and grafted together to hold the three opaline glass shapes. A rational marble food, typical of the designer, keeps the lamp stable.
This specific piece is an early model and features admirable patinated brass.
